CERTIFICATE OF CONFORMITY
Ministry of Industry and Trade issued QCVN 01: 2017 / BCT together with Circular 21/2017 / TT-BCT. This is the first national standard of Vietnam on the limit of formaldehyt and aromatic content for textile products, including other textile products and accessories.
According to the latest regulations issued by the Ministry of Industry and Trade, textile products before being sold on the market must announce the standard of aromatic formaldehydes and amines.
With this regulation, the competent authorities stipulate that enterprises producing, importing, and trading before selling goods to the market must declare conformity and stamp conformity (CR) according to current regulations. . The authorities allow enterprises to publish conformity in two forms: self-declaration or based on the results of certification, inspection of the designated organization.
This regulation stipulates that the limit of formaldehyde content of textile products consumed in Vietnam market must not exceed 30mg / kg (for products for children under 3 years old), 75mg / kg (for with products that come in direct contact with the skin) and 300mg / kg (for textile products that do not come in direct contact with the skin). Meanwhile, the limit on the aromatic amino content metabolized from azo dye does not exceed 30mg / kg.
